RSS is a technology that is being used by millions of web users around the
world to keep track of their favorite websites. In the ‘old days’ of the web to
keep track of updates on a website you had to ‘bookmark’ websites in your
browser and manually return to them on a regular basis to see what had been
added.
What if you could tell a website to let you know
every time that they update? In a sense, this is what RSS does for you.
RSS flips things around a little and is a
technology that provides you with a method of getting relevant and up to date
information sent to you for you to read in your own time. It saves you time and
helps you to get the information you want quickly after it was published.
Here my RSS Feed program
FeedDemon is a free RSS feed reader for Windows. It was created and is developed by Nick Bradbury, author of tools HomeSite, an HTML editor, and TopStyle, a CSS editor. FeedDemon is developed in Delphi. It was purchased by NewsGator Technologies in May 2005.
Here
are the sites I follow. The things they share are useful and interesting to me;
My favourite one is
This blog offers qualified information to
its followers. It discusses
different issues from different perspectives. Many
visuals have been added and the topics are handled in a fun way without being
boring. Related videos are added and informations, given in the post, are
supported. Teachers can follow this site. "Why should they follow?"
The answer is given by the site. They says, we are here "for foreign
language learning, for teaching English as a foreign language, to develop skill
as an article writer or give polished speaking presentations."
