universities, colleges, language schools and online while living in the UK,
Portugal, Cambodia, Japan, the Philippines and Lao PDR. His site is a general
English language site specialising in English as a Second Language (ESL).
This site is for not only students, learners but also for
teachers and academics. It is mainly addressed to ESL, EFL, ESOL and EAP areas
and has a qualified and large resource feature.
In the "Language Reference" section, there are English grammar terms, irregular verbs, idiomatic verbs and idiomatic sections and you can search according to your needs, from the site's resources. Also, there are some links to reach online dictionaries. Idıoms section contains clear definitions and examples of 7,048 English idioms and idiomatic expressions, categorised by topic and country of origin. Some irregular verbs and phrasal verbs have been added and listed. You can get qualified explanations about phrasal verbs and test yourself and you can also make a research about Irregular forms and their usage according to the forms.
There are articles on learning and teaching in English language, including recommendations, lessons, opinions and lesson plans from various authors and participants. Articles covering topics such as English grammar, punctuation and language teaching, career development, expertise and ideas for the classroom. There are also some comparisons of site’s some parts over the past year. And there is a part which contains some articles chosen according to the site visiters thoughts, comments and discussioo through The Discussion Forums of the site.
This part is for questions and discussions. You can ask to teachers or you can initiate a discuss and read past discussions and examine different ideas so you can bring up different perspectives.

And also site has it’s own Word List. When you enter a word here it offers you qualified information showing many of its uses. Let me show you an example;
Under the “Latest Content Additions” headline, you can see the date when the site has last been updated.
Overall I really love this site. The language is handled in
many ways and for many different people. Most things are detailed. Different
areas and topics are mentioned. Links are available. But I saw a shortcoming;
visual support is minimal and this is an important factor. This site can easily
be used by many users without distinguishing between teachers, students,
academicians. Teachers can use for as a source of lesson material and they can
find some resources to improve themselves. This site can be used as a tutor for
students. Students can develop learning strategies for themselves and practice
before or during the course. By studying different reading comprehension they
can inform and develop themselves in different fields.
I suggest you go in and take a look. I'm sure you'll find
something useful!
