 The word “podcasting” is a portmanteau combining the words “broadcasting” and “iPod.” Podcasting is a form of audio broadcasting on the Internet. The reason it became linked with the iPod in name was because people download the broadcasts (audio shows) to listen to on their iPods. However you don’t have to listen to podcasts only on iPods; you can use your computer with some music software such as Windows built-in Media Player or iTunes for mac (which has a podcast library), or your  smartphone, or even in your car. It really doesn’t matter, as long as you have some way to play music on your computer you will be able to listen to podcasts.

This was my first Podcast experience. I had some difficulties, but I had fun while doing it. I can use this program to improve the quality of the course with students.The process was also fun. Before we started our podcast, we knew that we needed good planning. First we created our story, which is the podcast's backbone. While writing the story, we took care not to use a very dense or very plain language to appeal to many audiences. Our goal was to create a text that was immersive and emotionally intense. Coordinated work was the most important point of this work. The sound effects and the text had to be at the same moment. It was the point that forced us the most.Fail, again, fail…It makes people happy to get something nice with a little patience and effort, and the difficulties lose their importance.

My beloved friend Ecem and I created a podcast of a story with the instructions given by our teacher. The story tells about the 35th birthday depression and emotional collapse of a woman who is afraid of getting old. I hope you enjoy it!
